First hack at a basic SGE/N1GE check.
This script will alert if any local queues are in error, and will return some basic information such as listing the queues and jobs on the local host. It will also give the host definition and list any errors found.
Version 0.2, now marks disabled queues as clear instead of error.
Version 0.3, added unknown queue status, and cut down on the number of qhost runs, also works with HOBBIT.

check_log.tar
This script wrote in python could control everylogfile. I tested it on aix(compiled)/linux/solaris messages, to check system log, oracle alert, and BBOUT.
It can divide the text in block (string or regexp) using a custom delimiter for every file, and then check every line. If a line match the rule (string or regexp) all the block is matched as policy.
Policy could be: skip error warning info.
The rule could have also a hours in wich to not be considered as warning/error but as info.
The last parameter is also used to print an additional message following the block matched.
Every logfile has a rule-file to associate. Read the istructions for more information. Write me if you need help (flyzone@technologist.com)
